Short and sweet
You were to me
Silly dreams had us beat
 
Second:
Purple veins couldn't contain
The rate that blood pumped through
When you held my hand
 
Third:
Goofy and confused
Always amused
Reality seriously skewed
 
Fourth:
I baked for you
Sweet berry pie
Which you had never tried
 
Fifth:
You pushed me up against the dumpster
Like the trash that I was
The stars witnessed our drunk demise
 
Sixth:
I was another penny to add to your coin jar
Once my polished surface tarnished
 
Seventh:
Strangers we started
Strangers we ended
