Suzanne Highland was recently awarded an MFA in Poetry from Hunter College, where she was the recipient of the 2016 Miriam Weinberg Richter Memorial Award for Conspicuous Ability in English. There, she is an adjunct lecturer in English, as well as an 11th grade ELA instructor. A native of Florida and graduate of the Sarasota Culture Club circuit, Suzanne currently lives in Queens.
